Job summary

Allocation Assist is seeking a Female Consultant Gastroenterologist in Dubai to diagnose and treat GI, liver, pancreatic, and digestive disorders within a multidisciplinary team.

The role involves performing gastroscopy and colonoscopy, developing treatment plans, and supervising junior staff while ensuring DHA compliance and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by DHA.
• Board Certification / Fellowship in Gastroenterology.
• DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter as Consultant Gastroenterologist.
• 5–7 years of post-specialization experience in a reputed hospital or healthcare facility.
• Expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic/Hindi is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage diseases related to the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, radiologists, dietitians, and internal medicine specialists.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with DHA regulations and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
• Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education programs.
• Supervise junior medical staff when required.
