Job summary

Head Medical is assisting a private client in Dubai to recruit a Consultant ENT Head and Neck Surgeon. The role demands leadership in complex head and neck oncology surgery within a multidisciplinary cancer program, with a fixed salary plus incentives and a Dubai residence visa.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years post-board experience, a Western Board Certification, and DHA licensure eligibility, plus proven expertise in airway management and advanced oncologic procedures.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent recognised as basic medical qualification.
• Completion of ENT residency with specialist training.
• Fellowship or advanced training in Head and Neck Surgery is desirable.
• Western Board Certification or equivalent registration.
• Eligibility for DHA consultant licensure in Dubai.
• Maintain an up-to-date surgical logbook for client review.
• Minimum 5 years post-board experience as a Consultant ENT Surgeon.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of ENT disorders in outpatient, inpatient and emergency settings.
• Contribute to teaching, mentoring and training of junior medical staff where applicable.
• Perform advanced head and neck procedures including tumor resections, thyroid and salivary gland surgery, neck dissections and laryngectomy.

We are urgently sourcing a Consultant ENT Head and Neck Surgeon on behalf of one of our private clients in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Medical degree MBBS or equivalent
• Completion of a recognized residency and specialist training in Otolaryngology ENT
• Fellowship or equivalent advanced training in Head and Neck Surgery is highly desirable
• Western Board Certification Specialist Registration from a recognized international Tier 1 certifying body
• Eligibility for consultant licensure with the Dubai Health Authority DHA
• Possess an up-to-date surgical logbook to share with client on application
• Experience Minimum of 5-year post-board certification experience as a Consultant ENT Surgeon
• Demonstrate expertise in Head and neck oncology surgery
• Tracheostomy tracheotomy and complex airway management
• Management of benign and malignant head and neck tumours
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary cancer program is preferred
