Job summary

DrExpat is seeking a Consultant ENT Head & Neck Surgeon to join a leading Dubai hospital. You will diagnose and treat complex ENT and head & neck conditions, and perform advanced surgical procedures in a state-of-the-art clinical environment.

You will collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, anesthesiologists and speech therapists to develop and execute comprehensive treatment plans, mentor junior staff, and uphold DHA standards in daily practice.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
• Completion of Otolaryngology (ENT) residency program.
• Western-trained candidates preferred.
• Fellowship or advanced subspecialty training in Head & Neck Surgery is highly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years post-board certification experience as a Consultant ENT Surgeon.
• Proven experience managing head and neck tumors and performing tracheostomy/tracheotomy procedures.
• Commitment to teaching, mentoring, and training junior medical staff.
• Eligibility for Consultant licensure with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage complex ENT and head & neck disorders.
• Perform advanced head and neck surgical procedures including tumor resections and airway surgeries.
• Manage patients with benign and malignant head & neck conditions.
• Perform tracheostomy and tracheotomy procedures when clinically indicated.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based clinical practice.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Mentor junior medical staff and participate in clinical education and training.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with DHA and hospital quality standards.
