Job summary

The Client of Dr Expat is seeking a Consultant Breast Surgeon in the United Arab Emirates to diagnose and manage a wide range of breast diseases and to perform advanced breast surgical procedures. You will collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, pathologists and multidisciplinary breast care teams to deliver comprehensive treatment plans and outstanding patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• UK CCT in General Surgery with subspecialty training in Breast Surgery or American Board Certification.
• Tier 1 DHA qualification per DHA guidelines.
• 5–8 years of post-specialist experience in Breast Surgery.
• Experience with breast-conserving surgery, mastectomy and oncoplastic techniques.
• Eligible for DHA Consultant License and ability to work in a tertiary or internationally accredited hospital.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage benign and malignant breast diseases.
• Perform breast-conserving surgery, mastectomy and oncoplastic procedures.
• Conduct sentinel lymph node biopsy and other advanced breast techniques.
• Participate in multidisciplinary breast cancer meetings and planning.
• Provide outpatient consultations and post‑operative follow‑up care.
• Counsel patients on diagnosis, treatment options and recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and surgical records.
• Engage in clinical governance, quality improvement and CME.

As a Consultant Breast Surgeon you will diagnose and manage a wide range of benign and malignant breast conditions while performing advanced breast surgical procedures using evidence-based techniques You will work closely with oncologists radiologists pathologists plastic surgeons and multidisciplinary breast care teams to deliver comprehensive treatment plans and outstanding patient outcomes

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage benign and malignant breast diseases
• Perform breast-conserving surgery mastectomy and oncoplastic breast procedures
• Conduct sentinel lymph node biopsy and other advanced breast surgical techniques
• Participate in multidisciplinary breast cancer meetings and treatment planning
• Provide outpatient consultations and post-operative follow-up care
• Counsel patients on diagnosis treatment options and recovery
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and surgical records
• Participate in clinical governance quality improvement and continuing medical education

Qualifications & Requirements

• UK CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in General Surgery with subspecialty training in Breast Surgery or American Board Certification
• Tier 1 qualification as per DHA guidelines
• Minimum 5 8 years of post-specialist experience in Breast Surgery
• Proven expertise in breast-conserving surgery, mastectomy, oncoplastic procedures, and sentinel lymph node biopsy
• Eligible for DHA Consultant License
• Experience in a tertiary care or internationally accredited hospital preferred
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
