Job summary

Kanadevia Inova is seeking a procurement professional to support subcontracting and sourcing strategies for Waste to X and Renewable Gas projects in the UAE. You will develop a local supplier network, prepare and issue RFQs, and lead negotiations for installation and site procurements.

You will also manage PEPP development, commercial aspects of subcontracts, and coordination with tender teams to ensure best outcomes in a dynamic technical environment.

Qualifications

• Ideally technical education with commercial and market experience in procurement for technical industries.
• Technical education with proven commercial experience.
• Project management experience.
• Knowledge of sourcing, bidding and category management.
• Knowledge of IFS SAP or other ERP systems and MS Office/eProcurement.
• Understanding of supply contract law (Swiss & Anglo-Saxon) QA processes in supply markets.
• Ideally multilingual; English plus French an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support subcontracting and sourcing strategy for Waste to X Plants and Renewable Gas (if applicable) including market research analysis.
• Develop local network and panel of suppliers and contractors for construction lots, site lots and framework.
• Prepare and follow-up PEPP (Project Engineering Procurement Plan) for execution of subcontract.
• Prepare and issue RFQs for installation and site procurement lots.
• Analyze received offers, review subcontract proposal evaluations.
• Perform costs and price analysis, develop negotiation strategies and lead negotiations for installation and site procurements.
• Prepare commercial part of subcontract including MoN and commercial clarifications.
• Direct commercial administration of site and installation lots including costs forecast and PO follow-ups.
• Coordinate with Tender Manager for market screening opportunities and subcontractors.

Job description

• Support subcontracting and sourcing strategy for Waste to X Plants and Renewable Gas (if applicable) includingmarket research analysis.


• Develop Local network and panel of suppliers and contractors for Construction Lots Site Lots and Framework


• Agreements.


• Promote KVI as the Partner of Choice to Contractors and suppliers in the Branch region


• Participating in development and selection for a best source and contractor approval process (using internal e-databaseSUMO or anyotheravailable).


• Preparation and follow-up of PEPP (Project Engineering Procurement Plan) for execution of subcontract.


• Support & preparation and issue of RFQs (Request for Quotations) for installation and site procurement lots


• Analysis of received offers review subcontract proposal evaluations


• Performing costs and price analysis developing negotiations strategies and support & leading negotiation of related project installation lots including site procurements lots.


• Preparation of commercial part of subcontract including MoN (Minutes of Negotiations) and all necessary


• commercial clarifications.


• Direct commercial administration of site & installation lots including costs forecast and purchase orders follow-up.


• Cooperation with local C&C Tender Manager for market screening opportunities and subcontractors.


• Participate in developing related procedures & process improvements within overall function.


• Ensures effectiveness and efficiency through adherence to subcontracting process.


• Supports the department in achieving objectives including close cooperation with Construction ME tendering team.


• Support & deputies for Director M&E Tendering Subcontracting (MTCC) & PCM for contracting issues.


• Supports Startup and Live sites within the Branch region for local procurement and contracting or emergency orders

Qualifications :

• Ideally technical education with the commercial and market experience (procurement commercial department) from technical industry (power industry renewable gas & others)


• Technical education with proven commercial experience & education


• Project management experience


• Knowledge of Sourcing Bidding and Category Management


• Knowledge of IFS SAP (or any other ERP system) and MS-OfficeeProcurement solutions


• Understanding of supply contract law (Swiss & Anglo Saxon) QA processes appropriate to Supply Markets


• Ideally multilingual with Good English French language as an advantage
