MediaSource FZC is seeking a senior procurement leader in Abu Dhabi to head the procurement function, drive strategy, manage major tenders, and secure optimal terms with suppliers and contractors. You will collaborate with Projects, Commercial, Finance, Legal, and Design teams to ensure delivery schedules and governance are maintained.

To lead and oversee the organization’s procurement function, ensuring the effective sourcing of goods, services, consultants, and contractors while achieving commercial value, maintaining governance, mitigating risk, and supporting successful project and business delivery.
Develop and implement the overall procurement strategy in alignment with organizational and project objectives.
Lead procurement activities across projects and corporate requirements, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.
Develop procurement plans, sourcing strategies, tendering approaches, and contracting strategies for major projects and packages.
Oversee tender processes including prequalification, RFP/RFQ issuance, bid evaluation, commercial negotiations, and contract award recommendations.
Lead negotiations with suppliers, consultants, contractors, and service providers to secure commercially advantageous terms.
Ensure procurement activities comply with approved policies, governance frameworks, delegated authorities, and applicable regulations.
Establish and maintain effective supplier and contractor evaluation, selection, and performance management processes.
Monitor procurement budgets, commitments, savings, lead times, and overall procurement performance against established KPIs.
Work closely with Projects, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Design, and other departments to ensure procurement requirements support project delivery schedules.
Identify procurement risks, supply chain constraints, and potential cost impacts and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Review and approve procurement documentation, tender evaluations, commercial recommendations, purchase orders, and contract awards within delegated authority.
Develop strategic supplier relationships and identify opportunities for consolidation, long-term agreements, and improved commercial value.
Maintain awareness of market conditions, pricing trends, supplier capabilities, and supply chain developments.
Provide regular procurement reports and recommendations to executive management.
Lead, develop, and manage the procurement team, ensuring clear accountability, performance standards, and professional development.
Drive continuous improvement, efficiency, transparency, and best practices across the procurement function.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Master’s degree or MBA would be an advantage.
Professional procurement qualification such as CIPS or equivalent is preferred.
Extensive senior-level procurement and supply chain experience, preferably within construction, real estate development, infrastructure, or project-based environments.
Strong experience managing complex tenders, major procurement packages, supplier negotiations, and contract awards.
Strong commercial understanding with experience in cost management, contracts, supplier performance, and procurement governance.
Proven experience leading procurement teams and working with senior internal and external stakeholders.
