Job summary

Freesia Electromechanical Works Contracting in Dubai seeks an experienced MEP Construction Manager to oversee and manage MEP construction activities from mobilization through project completion, ensuring safety, timely delivery, and adherence to UAE standards.

The role requires leading MEP works across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and fire fighting, coordinating with consultants, clients and subcontractors, and ensuring QA/QC and HSE compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 15–20 years of MEP construction experience, preferably in the UAE
• Strong experience in high-rise residential, commercial and villa projects
• Proven experience managing large-scale MEP construction teams and subcontractors
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, standards and authority requirements
• UAE experience is mandatory; immediate joiners are preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage MEP construction activities from mobilization through project completion
• Lead MEP works including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire fighting
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and internal project teams
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements and material submittals
• Ensure MEP works meet drawings, specs and schedules

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all MEP construction activities across project sites.
• Lead Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting and related MEP works.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and internal project teams.
• Review approved drawings, specifications, method statements and material submittals.
• Ensure MEP works are executed as per approved drawings, project specifications and schedules.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, productivity and resource requirements.
• Coordinate MEP works with Civil, Structural and Architectural teams to avoid site conflicts.
• Ensure proper inspection, testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Monitor quality and ensure compliance with QA/QC and HSE requirements.
• Review and resolve technical and construction issues at site.
• Coordinate procurement and ensure timely availability of MEP materials and equipment.
• Conduct regular site meetings and provide progress reports to senior management.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure work is completed as per approved programme.
