Job summary

Al Nasiya General Contracting is seeking an HSE professional to oversee safety on construction sites in Abu Dhabi. You will conduct inspections, enforce UAE regulations, and lead safety trainings to promote a strong safety culture.

The role requires NEBOSH IGC, 2–5 years UAE HSE experience, and a valid driving license. You will coordinate risk assessments, JSA, incident investigations and ensure documentation is up to date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant field.
• 2–5 years of construction HSE experience (UAE experience preferred).
• NEBOSH IGC is required; OSHA certification is an advantage.
• Knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and construction safety practices.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Valid driving license; based in UAE (Abu Dhabi) or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, project requirements and UAE regulations.
• Monitor the proper use of PPE.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks and HSE awareness training.
• Prepare risk assessments, JSA and safety reports.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor permit-to-work activities and ensure safe work practices are followed.
• Coordinate emergency response drills and maintain equipment.
• Maintain HSE records and documentation.
• Work with project managers, engineers, supervisors and subcontractors to promote a strong safety culture.
