Met T&S Ltd. in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced HSE Engineer to oversee health, safety and environmental performance on EPC oil & gas projects.
You will verify field activities align with HSE policy and work with the Site Manager and client representatives to ensure safe operations. The role requires a university degree or diploma in a relevant discipline, 10+ years of experience, NEBOSH GC/IGC or equivalent certification, and strong communication/leadership skills.
Rotation of 60 days on siteand 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid)

HSE Engineer reports to theHSM or, while he/she is the TCM HSE representative at site, he/she reports tothe Site Manager.
He/she verifies and ensuresthat all field activities are performed according to the TCM HSE policy, theregulations, standards and procedures, promoting all preventive andcorrective action as required.
Toperform the Job Hazardous Analysis (JHA) and participate to the Job SafetyAnalysis (JSA).
Verifythe adequacy and application of the Site HSE plan and all related procedures,to the preparing any revisions.
Toupdate the HSE documentation during all the construction phases when deemednecessary.
Tocheck that subcontractors perform their activities in accordance with all theHSE applicable procedures, regulation and standards, promoting all necessaryaction to ensure that the said procedures and regulations are observed.
Toorganize, plan and participate to periodical HSE walk around, inspections andaudits on site, prepare all the relevant reports, action plans, verify thefollow up and the timely execution of the corrective action.
Toorganize, coordinate and directly participate in the HSE Training activitieson site.
Toorganize and participate to all relevant site HSE meetings, prepare therelevant MOM.
Tocooperate with the client concerning the issue of any necessary work permits.
Toorganize in case of work accidents a full investigation of the event,finalized to the identification of corrective measure to avoid reoccurrence.
Tokeep accident records, identifying the areas to which prevention must beaddressed.
Toperform and or promote the indoctrination / training of personnel.
Leadand coordinate the activities off the Site HSE Committee (composed by allContractor and Subcontractors HSE Representative).
Tolead and coordinate the site emergency response team and fireprevention/fighting team, organizing training and emergency drill mockactivities.
Toprepare the HSE section of the construction monthly progress report and otherperiodical report.
Toprepare and update the Site HSE Statistics, verify the performance versus theProject and corporate HSE Objective, targets and performance indicators.
University Degree orDiploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.
Minimum of 10 years workexperience.
Significant experience in asimilar position on EPC Oil & Gas projects / Refinery.
NEBOSH GC/IGC, Diploma inSafety or any other HSE Certification (considered at ADNOC Group discretion).
Additional HSE Trainings /Certifications will be added advantage.
ADNOC approved will be anadvantage.
