Confidential Careers is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join its Finance team in the UAE construction sector. The role covers daily transactions, ledgers, invoicing, and financial reporting for projects.

You should have a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in UAE construction, with Oracle ERP proficiency. Strong analytical skills and deadline discipline are essential for accurate month-end and year-end closes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in the UAE construction or contracting industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting.
• Experience with Oracle ERP or equivalent accounting systems.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions, journal entries, and general ledger activities.
• Manage accounts payable, supplier invoices, and payment processing.
• Monitor accounts receivable, invoicing, and collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support project cost tracking, expense allocation, and financial reporting.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures.
