Job summary

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified, preferably from ICAI or an equivalent recognised professional body.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in UAE.
• Experience with contracting or construction projects and project accounting.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Strong IFRS and financial reporting skills; month-end closing.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS, and project-wise P&L.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, variances, and cost control.
• Handle WIP, CTC, revenue recognition, and project profitability analysis.
• Review supplier invoices and subcontractor payments; manage cash flow.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide schedules for audits.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements.
