Job summary

About Your Team

Our People & Culture team partners closely with the business to create an environment where our people can perform, develop, and thrive. Within the Compensation & Benefits function, we focus on delivering fair, competitive, and sustainable reward programmes that support our people strategy and business objectives.

Working closely with People & Culture colleagues, managers, employees, and external partners, you’ll contribute to compensation structures, benefits programmes, market analysis, and reward reporting across the organisation.

Your Role

As a Senior Compensation & Benefits Specialist, you will:

• Administer compensation and benefits policies in line with ALEC frameworks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery
• Support the administration of compensation structures and grading frameworks across the organisation
• Conduct salary surveys, benchmarking, and market analysis to ensure ALEC remains competitive and aligned with market practices
• Support annual merit, bonus, and benefits review cycles, including system updates, employee communications, and reporting
• Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on compensation and benefits policies, processes, and procedures
• Maintain accurate compensation and benefits data across HRIS platforms and support reward-related analytics and reporting
• Coordinate employee benefits and support vendor management across insurance brokers, travel partners, schooling providers, and other benefit providers
• Apply technical Compensation & Benefits expertise to deliver high-quality and consistent outcomes
• Support continuous improvement across reward processes, systems, and employee programmes
• Undertake any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as required to meet the needs of the business

What We’re Looking For

• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Strong understanding of compensation and benefits principles and practices
• Experience supporting compensation structures, salary benchmarking, and employee benefits
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with a high level of integrity
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• More focused on benefit and analytics
• Experience working within large-scale and/or multinational organisations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel capability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, employees, and external benefit providers

It Would Be an Advantage If You Have

• Experience working with HRIS and compensation management systems
• Knowledge of UAE and GCC labour laws and market practices
• Experience managing vendors and contracts relating to employee benefits
• Previous exposure to complex, large-scale or multinational organisations

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualification in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards, or a related HR specialism
• Experience supporting compensation reviews, benchmarking, benefits administration, and reward reporting
