Qualifications

• Degree in an appropriate discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• 5+ years experience in cost control and ERP environments.
• Experience in construction/engineering industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project cost control activities, including tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain cost control procedures with project managers.
• Configure ERP modules for cost control, commercial, and procurement.
• Troubleshoot ERP issues and implement enhancements.
• Support commercial and procurement teams with budgets and ERP workflows.
• Deliver ERP training and create user guides.
• Design dashboards for real-time visibility into project costs.
• Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and savings opportunities.
• Lead continuous improvement for cost control and ERP integration.

About Your Team

Our Cost Control & ERP team plays a critical role in maintaining strong financial and operational controls across our projects and business functions. Working closely with project teams, commercial departments, finance, procurement, and other stakeholders, the team ensures accurate cost reporting, budget monitoring, forecasting, and ERP data management.

We are committed to delivering timely and reliable cost information, streamlining processes through effective ERP utilization, and supporting management with the insights needed to make informed decisions. Through collaboration, accuracy, and continuous improvement, the team helps drive financial performance while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.

Your Role

As a Cost Control & ERP Specialist, you will

• Manage and oversee project cost control activities, including accurate tracking, forecasting, and reporting to ensure adherence to budget objectives.
• Develop and maintain cost control procedures and collaborate with project managers to monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights.
• Administer and configure ERP modules related to cost control, commercial, and procurement operations, ensuring effective system utilization and integration.
• Troubleshoot ERP issues and implement system enhancements to improve functionality and user experience.
• Support commercial and procurement teams by aligning activities with project budgets and embedding cost control measures within ERP workflows.
• Deliver ERP training and support to project teams, developing user-friendly guides and materials to drive system adoption and efficiency.
• Design and maintain dashboards for real-time visibility into project costs, performance indicators, and budget variances.
• Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives by applying industry best practices to enhance cost control processes and ERP integration across the organization.

• Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficient in ERP systems for cost, commercial, and procurement functions.

• Decisive, adaptable, & solutions-focused under pressure
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Experience in the construction or engineering industry.
• Knowledge of procurement and commercial workflows within ERP systems.
• Ability to manage cross-functional projects and change initiatives.
• Experience in developing and implementing cost control frameworks.
