Holiday Inn Dubai Business Bay is seeking a Commis II to join our culinary team in the heart of Dubai. You will prepare mise-en-place, assist in day-to-day kitchen operations, and support a hygienic, guest-focused environment within a dynamic hotel setting.

The ideal candidate has culinary training and prior experience in a restaurant or 4/5* hotel, with a commitment to delivering high-quality food and service to guests from around the world.

Qualifications

• Culinary School qualification.
• Similar experience working in either a restaurant or a 4/5* hotel environment.
• Committed to serving food of the highest quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all mise-en-place for day-to-day operations, in different sections of the kitchen.
• Maintains a healthy and hygienic work area.
• Communicates effectively and display courtesy to guests and internal customers.
• Support team with mise-en-place and storage pickups.
• Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comment and other relevant information.
• Establishes and maintains effective employee working relationships.
• Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled.
• Attends and participates in training sessions as scheduled.
• Prepares in advance food, beverage, material and equipment needed for the service.
• Cleans and re-sets their working area.
• Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
