Job summary

Jumeirah is seeking a Demi Chef to Chef De Partie to join our luxury kitchen team at Dubai's iconic properties. You will prepare ingredients, follow recipes, and execute cooking techniques to high standards under senior chefs and ensure plating meets specifications.

The ideal candidate has a culinary diploma, 1-2 years in a luxury kitchen, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts or related hospitality discipline.
• 1-2 years experience in a professional kitchen, preferably luxury hospitality.
• Strong communication, positive attitude, teamwork mindset, eagerness to learn in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Gather, measure, mix, and prepare meal ingredients according to recipes.
• Wash, peel, chop vegetables, fruits, and meats with precision.
• Execute cooking techniques and plating to high standards under senior chefs.
• Document inventory and monitor stock levels to maintain supplies.
• Operate kitchen equipment and set correct cooking temperatures.
• Follow food safety and hygiene practices and proper storage of items.
