The ideal candidate has MRICS accreditation, 8–12 years UAE experience, and in-depth knowledge of FIDIC and UAE laws.
We are looking for a commercial leader to safeguard our developer entities against cost overruns, variations, and commercial risks. The Commercial Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor will take end-to-end ownership of project financials, contractor valuations, interim payment certificates (IPCs), variation assessments, and final accounts.
Cost Management & Control: Establish and monitor detailed project budgets, cash flow projections, and cost reporting models across all project stages. Contract Administration: Administer FIDIC-based contracts with main contractors, sub-contractors, and engineering consultants. Valuations & IPCs: Independently review and verify monthly contractor payment applications, interim payment certificates (IPCs), and progress claims. Variations & Claims: Evaluate contractor claims, variation orders, and extension-of-time (EOT) requests to protect developer cash flow and contractual positions. Procurement & Tendering: Drive contractor tendering processes, bill of quantities (BOQ) reviews, commercial negotiations, and contract award drafting.
