Job summary

KONE Middle East, Turkey & Africa (KMTA) is seeking a Collections Specialist to be based in our Sharjah office. The role focuses on credit control, collections, invoicing efficiency, and reporting, with 90% field activity and collaboration with internal teams and customers to manage credit risk and ensure timely repayments.

The ideal candidate will have a track record in collections, strong commercial acumen, and excellent communication skills in English to support our AR processes and customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years high volume corporate field Collections experience.
• Knowledge of Billing and Collections procedures.
• Accounts Receivable knowledge/experience is a plus.
• Strong focus on customer service and accuracy.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service regarding collection issues and refunds.
• Review account adjustments and resolve discrepancies and short payments.
• Monitor assigned accounts, perform reconciliations, and process credit memos.
• Reduce delinquency for assigned accounts.
• Collaborate with sales and management to accelerate collection.
• Maintain effective relationships with dealers and the sales team.

KONE Middle East Turkey & Africa (KMTA) is embarking upon an exciting growth phase through direct presence in 7 regions. To complement our growth plans we are looking for a Collections Specialist with strong analytical skills and a customer-focused mindset to be based in our Sharjah office.

In this role the successful candidate will be an expert in the Credit Control and Collection process invoicing efficiency and reporting and the dispute resolution process with internal teams and customers within the Service a key role in executing KONEs customer credit management activities. Reporting to the Credit Controller you will be responsible for implementing KONEs credit policies so that an acceptable level of risk is maintained repayments are made on time losses are kept to a minimum and arrears are economically collected.

We are looking for an individual with a track record of being a go-getter a creative mindset and strong commercial acumen skills.

Please note that 90% of your activities will be on the field.

Responsibilities:

• Providing customer service regarding collection issues processing customer refunds process and reviewing account adjustments and resolving client discrepancies and short payments.

• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts- Customer calls account adjustments small balance write-offs customer reconciliations and processing credit memos.

• Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts.

• Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department.

• Enlist the efforts of sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process.

• Must communicate & follow up effectively with the sales department regarding customer accounts on time.

• Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with dealers and sales.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years high volume corporate field Collections experience is a must

• Knowledge of Billing and Collections procedures

• Accounts Receivable knowledge/experience a plus

• Strong attention to detail goal-oriented

• Commitment to excellent customer service

• Excellent English written and verbal communication abilities.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.

• A drivers license and UAE experience are a must.
