Qualifications

• Previous professional experience as a Chef de Partie, Cold Kitchen Chef, Garde Manger, or similar culinary position.
• Experience in a professional restaurant, hotel, or high-volume kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of cold kitchen preparation and presentation techniques.
• Experience preparing salads, cold appetizers, sauces, dressings, and other cold dishes.
• Ability to prepare and present dishes consistently according to recipes and quality standards.
• Strong attention to food presentation, detail, and portion control.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen hygiene.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Culinary training or relevant professional experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present cold dishes according to established recipes and restaurant standards.
• Prepare salads, appetizers, sauces, dressings, and other cold kitchen items.
• Maintain consistent food quality, freshness, presentation, and portion sizes.
• Complete mise en place and prepare the assigned section before service.
• Maintain an organized and efficient cold kitchen section.
• Work closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and other kitchen team members.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout service.
• Assist with inventory control and minimize food waste.
• Support the kitchen team in delivering an excellent guest experience.
