Job summary

Al Marwan Group in the UAE seeks a skilled Lathe Machine Operator to set up and run manual or CNC lathes, turning raw materials into precision parts. You will read drawings, select tools, and monitor operations to meet strict tolerances.

You will perform quality checks with verniers, micrometers, and gauges, maintain tooling, and follow safety procedures. A high school diploma and machinist training are preferred, with prior experience in machining and repair advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Lathe Machine Operator, CNC Machine Operator, CNC Turning Operator or Machinist.
• Vocational training or ITI preferred.
• Strong reading of technical drawings and tolerance interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate manual or CNC turning lathes.
• Read engineering drawings, determine dimensions, tolerances and machining sequences.
• Inspect finished parts with Vernier calipers, micrometers and gauges to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain tooling and contribute to a clean, safe work area.
