Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Machining, Tool & Die, or related field preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge of lathe machining and CNC machines.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform machining work on lathe and CNC machines.
• Carry out tool making, tool fitting and basic tool maintenance.
• Read and understand engineering drawings and measurements.
• Select appropriate cutting tools and machining methods.
• Set up machines and adjust tools according to job requirements.
• Check dimensions and quality of finished components using measuring instruments.
• Identify and rectify basic machining and tooling issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and keep machines and tools in good condition.
• Follow production schedules, quality standards and workplace safety procedures.
