Job summary

Dicetek LLC is seeking a CMDB Administrator to manage accuracy and stewardship of the CMDB, aligning CI lifecycles with service owners and leading remediation efforts. The role focuses on preventing duplicates, coordinating source-owner remediation, and upholding IRE source-precedence rules within the platform model.

Experience with ITIL v4 and CMDB tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Helix CMDB, or Ivanti Neurons is required, along with relevant certifications and hands-on exposure to IT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in CMDB administration, ITSM tool implementation, or related IT infra roles.
• Strong understanding of ITIL v4 principles and CMDB-related practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CMDB accuracy, completeness, and stewardship with Observability and service owners.
• Govern CI lifecycle ownership and relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Main duties and day-to-day tasks expected from the resource

• Maintain CMDB accuracy completeness and stewardship with Observability and service owners
• Govern CI lifecycle ownership and relationships
• investigate duplicates stale records and coordinate source-owner remediation
• Maintain approved IRE source-precedence rules rather than redesigning the platform model
• Produce reliable ITSM control evidence escape model security decisions to Digital Workplace

RTIFICATIONS TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in CMDB administration, ITSM tool implementation, or related IT infrastructure roles.Proven experience with CMDB tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Helix CMDB, or Ivanti Neurons for CMDB.Strong understanding of ITIL v4 principles and best practices, particularly in relation to Configuration Management.

CERTIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Certifications e.g. AWS Certified, PMP, CISSP, Azure, ITIL

Proposed mandatory: current ServiceNow CSA and ITIL 4 Foundation. Validate credentials and applicable maintenance status before submission. Desirable: CIS-Discovery, Service Mapping or relevant CMDB/CSDM learning credentials.
