Job summary

One&Only Resorts in Dubai seeks a Cluster Manager, Learning & Development to lead the learning strategy for One&Only Royal Mirage and One&Only The Palm. You will design, deliver and evaluate programs, manage training resources, and partner with external providers to ensure outstanding service and staff development across our luxury teams.

Qualifications

• Suitable candidate must be highly qualified and must have at least 3-4 years’ experience as Learning & Development Manager in an upscale luxury hospitality industry or five-star hotels.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Excellent spoken and written communication in English and/or another language.
• Middle East/GCC experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan and manage learning and development programs for all team Members to meet individual and organizational needs.
• Develop, plan and manage the training function and the training resources.
• Administer an annual Training Needs Analysis and plan the required programs accordingly.
• Design or facilitate the design of necessary programs identified in the annual Training Needs Analysis.
• Deliver or facilitate the delivery of the necessary programs.
• Facilitate feedback from programs and manage them appropriately.
• Collate Development Plans from Individual Performance Appraisals to align with goals.
• Liaise with external institutions and organizations for external programs and manage the process.
• Liaise with required external consultants and facilitate delivery of programs to meet resort needs.
• Develop and manage programs for all Management Trainees.
• Plan, design and facilitate delivery of: Orientations, Customer service, Performance management, Supervisory skills, Managerial skills, Leadership Development, Sales, and other programs.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• To develop, plan and manage the learning and development programs for all team Members to meet both the individual and organizational needs.
• To develop, plan and manage the training function and the training resources.
• To administer an annual Training Needs Analysis and to plan the required programs accordingly.
• To design or facilitate the design of the necessary programs as identified in the annual Training Needs Analysis.
• To deliver or facilitate the delivery of the necessary programs.
• To facilitate the feedback received from programs and to manage and administer them appropriately.
• To collate all Development Plans form Individual Performance Appraisals to ensure that individual Team Member requirements that achieve individual and organizational goals are followed through.
• To liaise with all external institutions and organizations for all appropriate external programs that Team members will be nominated for and administer the total process.
• To liaise with required external consultants and facilitate the delivery of identified programs to fulfill the needs of the resort.
• To develop and manage the programs for all Management Trainees.
• To plan, design and facilitate he delivery of the following programs:
• Orientations
• Customer service
• Performance management
• Supervisory skills
• Managerial skills
• Leadership Development
• Sales
• And any other programs as required.
