Job summary

Sundus is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer in the United Arab Emirates to coordinate with application, network, and vendor teams to maintain service continuity. The role focuses on incident resolution, RCA, disaster recovery testing, and system hardening.

You will manage L2/L3 support tickets, monitor servers and databases, and oversee backups, failover, and Azure resources. Experience with Windows Server, Hyper-V, Veeam, and ITSM processes is essential to keep critical systems

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with application, network, and external vendor teams to resolve infrastructure issues and ensure service continuity.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA), disaster recovery testing, system hardening, and recovery operations.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support and manage incident, change, and problem tickets through ITSM tools.
• Monitor server and application performance, availability, backup jobs, and system alerts; troubleshoot and resolve incidents.
• Configure and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication for virtual machines, physical servers, and SQL databases.
• Manage Hyper-V environments, virtual machines, clusters, replication, live migration, and failover operations.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022, including Active Directory, DNS, Group Policies, and security patching.
• Administer on-premises physical servers, storage systems, firmware upgrades, and hardware maintenance.
• Monitor and maintain database performance, security, backups, recovery, replication, and failover configurations.
• Manage Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage accounts, backups, snapshots, and resource optimization.
