Job summary

Virtusa in Dubai seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Administrator to manage Windows Server and Linux environments, and oversee virtualization platforms (VMware and Hyper-V). The role handles AD/DNS/DHCP/GPO and Azure AD, deploys enterprise servers, and coordinates OS upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.

You'll also manage storage arrays (NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE) and backups (Veeam, Commvault, Veritas NetBackup), support Azure infrastructure, monitor systems, and lead ITIL-based

Qualifications

• Experience administering Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Proficient with virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V).
• Experience in AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and Azure AD concepts.
• Experience with enterprise servers, OS upgrades, patch management, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with storage arrays (NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE) and backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault, Veritas).
• Exposure to Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and DR/BCP implementation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Manage VMware vSphere/ESXi and Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
• Configure and maintain AD DNS DHCP GPO and Azure AD.
• Deploy and maintain enterprise servers and infrastructure services.
• Perform provisioning OS upgrades patch management and performance tuning.
• Manage storage and backup platforms (NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE, Veeam/Commvault/NetBackup).
• Support Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud setups.
• Monitor infrastructure and resolve issues proactively.
• Perform incident problem and change management per ITIL.
• Implement disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
• Collaborate with network security, database, and application teams.
