DiceTek UAE is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to design and implement scalable cloud network services in Dubai. Key roles include improving security, cost efficiency, and reliability of AWS and Azure networks.

The ideal candidate should have strong cloud networking experience and a solid understanding of routing and security principles. The position offers a full-time opportunity with a salary range of 18,000 – 28,000 AED per month.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in cloud networking within AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Solid understanding of routing, subnetting, segmentation, DNS, hybrid connectivity, and network security principles.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud‑native networking services, infrastructure‑as‑code, and automated provisioning.
• Practical knowledge of site‑to‑site VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, transit routing, firewalls, WAF, and DDoS protection.
• Ability to troubleshoot high‑impact network and connectivity issues across production cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Git‑based workflows, design reviews, change control, and peer review processes.
• Strong ownership mindset for cloud network reliability, security, and operational discipline.
• Ability to work closely with security, cloud platform, application, and infrastructure teams.
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain complex network concepts in a clear and practical way.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud network architectures across AWS, Azure, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
• Configure VPC, VNet, subnetting, segmentation, routing, DNS, ingress, egress, and secure connectivity patterns.
• Engineer and operate hybrid connectivity solutions including site‑to‑site VPNs, AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, and transit routing.
• Implement cloud network security controls such as firewalls, network security groups, WAF rules, and DDoS protection services.
• Automate network provisioning and configuration using infrastructure‑as‑code tools, reusable modules, and API‑driven workflows.
• Improve network reliability, availability, and maintainability through resilient designs across regions and availability zones.
• Support capacity planning, performance tuning, traffic analysis, and cloud cost optimization initiatives.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud network and connectivity issues in production environments with clear root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cloud platform, security, application, and operations teams through Git‑based workflows and structured design reviews.
• Follow disciplined change management, peer review, documentation, and release practices for production network changes.
• Standardize cloud network patterns to reduce configuration drift, improve security posture, and support scalable operations.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both engineering teams and non‑specialist stakeholders.
