Job summary

Google Dubai is seeking a Compliance Program Manager for Google Cloud to support the OCI EMEA team on various compliance matters and projects of moderate risk. You will manage, improve, and create new processes and coordinate information and documentation for the team.

Responsibilities include handling escalations, implementing workflow enhancements, and acting as SME across project areas while interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working as a compliance officer or an auditor.
• Experience with customs and practices across EMEA.
• Ability to speak and write in English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Manage compliance matters of moderate impact, risk, and complexity with limited oversight.
• Field moderate risk and complex escalations from the team and internal/external clients in areas of subject expertise.
• Implement system or process enhancements to manage workflow more effectively.
• Act as subject matter expert and primary point person on multiple project areas, coordinate cross-functionally on project specifications, maintain feedback loop with stakeholders to identify issues and drive further improvement.
• Arrange and organise logistics for team travel and business trips within the EMEA region.
• Provide support to Product Area Compliance Leads in the region.
