Job summary

Client of AIQU in Dubai is seeking a seasoned Information Security GRC professional to lead governance, risk, and compliance initiatives protecting information assets and ensuring regulatory adherence.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence senior stakeholders, and continuously enhance our security posture in line with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR/PCI DSS where applicable, and UAE data protection laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of hands-on information security and GRC experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF and risk management methodologies.
• Experience implementing and managing compliance programs for GDPR, PCI DSS, UAE Data Protection Law.
• Proficiency with risk assessment methods and audit lifecycle management.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain information security governance frameworks aligned with ISO 27001, NIST CSF and regional regulations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and coordinate remediation with IT and business units.
• Lead and support internal and external audits and track findings to closure.
• Monitor changes in data protection and cybersecurity regulations and ensure readiness.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to embed security controls across projects and SDLC.
• Design and deliver security and compliance awareness training for staff and management.
• Prepare and present reports on risk posture, compliance status and key metrics to leadership.
• Manage third‑party and vendor security risk assessments and ongoing monitoring.
