Job summary

Duncan & Ross is seeking an experienced Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to provide technical support for Oil & Gas and Marine Onshore projects in the UAE. The role focuses on FEED review, coordination, procurement support, construction readiness, and multidisciplinary interfaces throughout the project lifecycle.

You will ensure technical integrity, lead engineering deliverables, and coordinate with Project Execution and Construction teams, consultants, contractors and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years in a Senior Civil/Structural role.
• Experience in Oil & Gas and Marine Onshore projects, GCC preferred.
• Experience with EPC/PMC companies in the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior Civil and Structural engineering support for Oil & Gas and Marine Onshore projects.
• Review FEED deliverables for quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate Civil, Structural and Marine activities with other disciplines and stakeholders.
• Support engineering deliverable coordination throughout the project phase.
• Provide technical support for procurement activities with consultants, contractors and vendors.
• Support construction readiness and coordinate with Project Execution and Construction teams.
• Perform constructability assessments and optimization activities.
• Manage and support engineering changes per project requirements.
• Identify, coordinate and resolve engineering issues in a timely manner.
• Provide technical input for multidisciplinary interfaces and coordination.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors and project stakeholders.
• Maintain high standards of technical quality, documentation, schedule and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain required engineering documentation and reports.
• Support project objectives related to engineering scope and delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or an equivalent relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a Senior Civil / Structural Engineering position.
• Proven experience in Oil & Gas and Marine Onshore projects, preferably within the GCC.
• Experience with reputable EPC, Engineering and/or PMC companies in the UAE.
• Strong experience in FEED deliverables review, technical engineering review and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Strong knowledge of Civil, Structural and Marine engineering design and technical requirements.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors and vendors.
• Experience supporting procurement engineering activities.
• Experience in construction readiness, construction interface and constructability assessment.
• Experience handling engineering changes, technical issues and engineering optimization.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary engineering interfaces.
• EPC construction-phase exposure will be an advantage.
• Strong technical documentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good task management and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail and accountability.
• Relevant professional certifications, discipline-specific credentials and project/client certifications will be considered an advantage.
