Job summary

Duncan & Ross Consulting is seeking a Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to lead E&I activities for Oil & Gas and Marine Onshore projects in the UAE. The candidate will review FEED deliverables, coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces, and support procurement and construction readiness to ensure alignment with project objectives.

The role requires senior-level expertise in electrical, instrumentation and controls design, with strong stakeholder management and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in a senior Electrical & Instrumentation engineering role.
• Experience in Oil & Gas and Marine Onshore projects in the GCC.
• Experience with EPC/Engineering/PMC firms in UAE.
• Strong capability in electrical, instrumentation and controls engineering design and reviews.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to provide senior engineering support for Oil & Gas and Marine Onshore projects, with strong experience in FEED deliverables review, engineering coordination, procurement support, construction readiness and effective engineering alignment and interfaces throughout the Project lifecycle. The candidate will support technical quality, engineering optimization, constructability and multidisciplinary coordination in accordance with project requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide senior electrical and instrumentation engineering support for Oil & Gas and Marine Onshore projects.
• Review FEED and other engineering deliverables to ensure technical quality and compliance.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables throughout the Project lifecycle.
• Coordinate effectively with other engineering disciplines and multidisciplinary Project stakeholders.
• Support procurement activities through coordination with consultants, contractors and vendors.
• Support construction readiness and execution requirements.
• Maintain high standards of technical quality, documentation, schedule and compliance.
• Support Project objectives related to engineering results and scope.
• Manage engineering changes and optimization activities.
• Perform constructability assessments and provide technical input.
• Support reporting requirements and timely resolution of engineering issues.
• Coordinate engineering alignment, reviews and technical interfaces throughout the Project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and vendors on electrical, instrumentation and controls engineering matters.
• Support multidisciplinary technical coordination and interface management.
• Perform other reasonable duties related to the role as assigned by the Engineering Manager.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering position.
• Experience in Oil & Gas and Marine Onshore projects in the GCC.
• Experience with reputable EPC and/or Engineering and/or PMC companies in the UAE.
• EPC construction-phase exposure will be an asset.
• Strong capability in electrical, instrumentation and controls engineering design and technical review.
• Strong experience in consultants, contractors and vendors coordination.
• Experience in management of engineering changes and optimization.
• Strong understanding of constructability and multidisciplinary interfaces.
• Strong technical coordination skills.
