Duncan & Ross is seeking an experienced Mechanical & Rotating Engineer to provide senior mechanical and rotating equipment support for Oil & Gas and Marine Onshore projects in the GCC, with a strong focus on FEED and engineering deliverables.

The role involves technical review, coordination across disciplines, procurement support, constructability assessment, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, quality requirements, and schedules.

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical & Rotating Engineer to provide senior mechanical and rotating equipment engineering support for Oil & Gas and Marine Onshore projects in the GCC, with a strong focus on FEED and engineering deliverables. The role will involve technical review, engineering coordination, procurement support, constructability, engineering interfaces, equipment engineering, and construction readiness, while ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and quality requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide mechanical and rotating equipment engineering support throughout FEED and other project engineering phases.
• Review and deliver mechanical and rotating equipment engineering design documents, specifications, datasheets, and technical deliverables.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and multidisciplinary project stakeholders.
• Review technical requirements and provide engineering input for tanks, piping, and rotating equipment.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and suppliers on technical matters.
• Provide technical support during procurement activities, including vendor document review and technical clarifications.
• Support engineering alignment, interfaces, and resolution of technical issues.
• Manage and assess engineering changes, technical deviations, and optimization opportunities.
• Perform constructability reviews and support construction readiness.
• Ensure engineering activities comply with project specifications, applicable codes, standards, quality requirements, and schedules.
• Prepare and maintain technical reports, engineering documentation, and project deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces and ensure timely resolution of engineering issues.
• Support Project and Engineering Management in achieving project objectives.
• Perform other reasonable duties related to the role as assigned by the Engineering Manager.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in a senior Mechanical / Rotating Engineering position.
• Experience in Oil & Gas and Marine Onshore projects within the GCC.
• Experience with reputable EPC, Engineering, and/or PMC companies, preferably within the UAE.
• EPC construction-phase exposure will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, tanks, piping, and rotating equipment engineering.
• Experience in FEED and engineering deliverables review.
• Experience with technical review and coordination of consultants, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Experience managing engineering changes, technical optimization, constructability, and multidisciplinary interfaces.
• Experience supporting procurement and vendor technical activities.
• Strong technical reporting, communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Good understanding of applicable Oil & Gas engineering codes, standards, specifications, and project requirements.
• Relevant Engineering degree is required/preferred.
• Professional certifications or discipline-specific qualifications will be an added advantage.
