The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in senior CIVIL/STRUCTURAL roles, GCC experience, and a track record with EPC/PMC firms in the UAE.

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil / Structural Engineer to provide technical engineering support for Oil & Gas and Marine Onshore projects. The role will focus on FEED deliverables review, engineering coordination, procurement support, construction readiness, constructability and multidisciplinary interfaces. The candidate will ensure technical integrity, engineering quality, constructability and effective coordination with Project Execution and Construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide senior Civil and Structural engineering support for Oil & Gas and Marine Onshore projects.
• Review and coordinate FEED and other engineering deliverables to ensure technical quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate Civil, Structural and Marine engineering activities with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders.
• Support engineering deliverable coordination throughout the project phase.
• Provide technical support for procurement activities, including coordination with consultants, contractors and vendors.
• Support construction readiness and coordinate engineering requirements with Project Execution and Construction teams.
• Perform constructability assessments and support engineering optimization activities.
• Manage and support engineering changes in accordance with project requirements.
• Identify, coordinate and resolve engineering issues in a timely manner.
• Provide technical input for multidisciplinary engineering interfaces and coordination.
• Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, vendors and project stakeholders.
• Maintain high standards of technical quality, documentation, schedule and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain required engineering documentation and reports.
• Support project objectives related to engineering scope, technical integrity and delivery.
• Perform other reasonable duties related to the role as assigned by the Engineering Manager.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or an equivalent relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a Senior Civil / Structural Engineering position.
• Proven experience in Oil & Gas and Marine Onshore projects, preferably within the GCC.
• Experience with reputable EPC, Engineering and/or PMC companies in the UAE.
• Strong experience in FEED deliverables review, technical engineering review and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Strong knowledge of Civil, Structural and Marine engineering design and technical requirements.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors and vendors.
• Experience supporting procurement engineering activities.
• Experience in construction readiness, construction interface and constructability assessment.
• Experience handling engineering changes, technical issues and engineering optimization.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary engineering interfaces.
• EPC construction-phase exposure will be an advantage.
• Strong technical documentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good task management and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail and accountability.
• Relevant professional certifications, discipline-specific credentials and project/client certifications will be considered an advantage.
