Job summary

DSCA Building Contracting in Abu Dhabi invites a qualified Civil QA QC Engineer to join our construction team. You will implement and monitor QA/QC procedures, conduct site inspections, and prepare ITPs, MIRs, WIRs, NCRs, and quality documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, 3+ years of QA/QC experience on high-rise projects (4+ preferred), and solid knowledge of civil construction quality standards and ISO 9001 practices.

Qualifications

Civil QA QC Engineer

DSCA Building Contracting is looking for a qualified and experienced Civil QA QC Engineer to join our construction team in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor project quality assurance and quality control procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications and construction standards.
• Prepare and review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) and Work Inspection Requests (WIRs).
• Monitor the quality of structural works, concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, blockwork and finishing activities.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants, subcontractors and project teams.
• Identify, document and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
• Review material approvals, inspection records, testing reports and quality documentation.
• Ensure proper implementation of quality standards throughout all construction phases.
• Maintain accurate quality control records and prepare regular QA QC reports.
• Support project teams during internal audits, consultant inspections and project handover activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant QA/QC experience in high-rise building construction; 4+ years preferred.
• Strong understanding of civil construction quality standards, inspection procedures, and testing requirements.
• Experience preparing and managing ITPs, MIRs, WIRs, NCRs, and quality documentation.
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural construction, and finishing works.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management principles is an advantage.
• Previous UAE building construction experience is preferred.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants and site management.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Important: Practical QA/QC experience in high-rise building construction is mandatory. Candidates with infrastructure-only experience will not be considered.
