Job summary

DSCA Building Contracting in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to develop and control schedules for high-rise building projects. You will coordinate with project teams to ensure milestones are achieved and reports are prepared for management.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of UAE high-rise planning experience and advanced Primavera P6 skills, with strong analytical and Excel capabilities. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3+ years planning experience in high-rise construction; 4+ years preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of sequencing, scheduling, progress monitoring, and critical path analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and project reporting tools.
• Experience with UAE building projects is preferred.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed baseline schedules, construction programs, and progress updates.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor actual progress against timelines and identify delays.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management and stakeholders.
• Conduct critical path analysis and recommend recovery plans.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and subcontractors to meet milestones.
• Monitor manpower, equipment and resource requirements with project teams.
• Assist in delay analyses, progress presentations, and forecasts.
• Ensure planning coordination between construction activities and technical deliverables.

DSCA Building Contracting is looking for a qualified and experienced Planning Engineer to join our construction operations in Abu Dhabi The successful candidate will be responsible for developing monitoring and controlling construction schedules for high-rise building projects ensuring timely execution and effective project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project baseline schedules construction programs and progress updates
• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6
• Monitor actual project progress against approved timelines and identify potential delays
• Prepare daily weekly and monthly progress reports for management and project stakeholders
• Conduct critical path analysis and recommend corrective measures and recovery plans
• Coordinate with project managers site engineers procurement teams and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are achieved
• Monitor manpower equipment and resource requirements in coordination with project teams
• Assist in preparing delay analysis reports progress presentations and project forecasts
• Ensure effective planning coordination between construction activities and technical deliverables

Important: Direct experience in high-rise building construction is mandatory. Candidates with infrastructure-only planning experience will not be considered.
