Confidential Company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled Civil Site Engineer with experience in structural and foundation works to supervise on-site construction, review designs and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure execution as per drawings and timelines.

The role requires strong knowledge of UAE codes, 4-6 years of UAE site experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office, and a valid UAE driving license; immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Site Execution Supervision: Supervise foundation and structural works per drawings, specs and method statements.
• Design Review Approvals: Review structural/shop drawings and material submittals; coordinate for approvals.
• Quality Control: Inspect reinforcement, formwork, concreting; ensure QA/QC procedures.
• Coordination Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with consultants, subs, suppliers; attend site meetings.
• Planning Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly reports; track material usage and productivity.
• HSE Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental standards on site.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Site Engineer with experience in structural and foundation works. The candidate will be responsible for supervising on-site construction activities reviewing designs coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring execution as per approved drawings quality standards and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Execution Supervision Supervise all foundation and structural works including excavation footing raft pile and RCC works Ensure site activities are executed as per approved drawings specifications and method statements Monitor daily site progress and ensure adherence to project schedule
2. Design Review Approvals Review structural drawings shop drawings and material submittals Coordinate with consultants for design clarifications and approvals Ensure all works comply with local authority regulations and standards UAE
3. Quality Control Conduct inspections for reinforcement formwork concreting and finishing works Ensure compliance with QA QC procedures and ITPs Identify and rectify non-conformances
4. Coordination Stakeholder Management Coordinate with consultants subcontractors suppliers and internal teams Attend site meetings and resolve technical site issues Ensure smooth workflow between all disciplines
5. Planning Reporting Prepare daily weekly progress reports Track material usage manpower allocation and site productivity Report progress and issues to the Project Manager
6. HSE Compliance Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental standards on site Support implementation of HSE policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• 4-6 years of experience in construction site execution (UAE preferred)
• Strong experience in structural & foundation works
• Knowledge of UAE codes, standards, and authority approvals
• Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and structural systems. Ability to review and interpret engineering drawings and BOQ. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office (Excel, Word). Good communication and coordination skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Mandatory Requirements

• Valid UAE Driving License (Must)
• Experience working on construction sites
• Willingness to work in Abu Dhabi or across UAE project sites

Preferred Experience

• High-rise / infrastructure / data center projects
• Familiarity with authority approvals (ADM, DM, etc.)
