Job summary

Khatib & Alami in Dubai invites a Site Engineer - Civil to join Dubai Infrastructure Projects. You will supervise site activities, review submittals and shop drawings, and ensure work aligns with K&A specifications and QC procedures.

With at least 5 years of Middle East experience and a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, you will coordinate with project teams, manage client expectations, and uphold safety and quality on infrastructure sites. Proficiency in Arabic and English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Chartered Professional Engineer certification or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of construction supervision services.
• Understanding of international engineering standards and codes.
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Good planning and organization skills.
• Strong attention to details.
• Strong time management skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings, submittals and bills of quantities for accuracy.
• Supervise the installation of equipment on site.
• Coordinate with the project team for daily inspections and progress updates.
• Ensure materials at store comply with approved submittals.
• Attend technical and progress meetings to share information.
• Monitor site progress and ensure work aligns with K&A specs and QC procedures.
• Notify contractor of required revisions and review payments for discrepancies.
