Job summary

Khatib & Alami is seeking a Site Inspector - Mechanical for Abu Dhabi Projects. The role focuses on supervising construction sites, inspecting works progress, ensuring adherence to drawings and specifications, and enforcing HSSE policies in collaboration with contractors and project teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with 5+ years in construction site inspections, and strong Arabic/English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
• Knowledge of construction supervision services.
• Understanding of international engineering standards and codes.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction works on site and monitor progress.
• Review contractor submittals including shop drawings and method statements.
• Support HSSE compliance and non-conformity handling with QA/QC teams.
• Assist planning engineers with activity monitoring and reporting.
• Prepare commissioning and defects handover documentation.
