Job summary

Khatib & Alami is seeking a Site Engineer - Structural for Dubai Buildings Projects. You will act as a technical adviser on site, monitor progress, and ensure work aligns with K&A specifications and QC procedures. Daily site information such as submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings will be processed.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; Chartered certification is preferred. At least 5 years in a contracting or supervision role in the Middle East, with strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• Chartered Engineering certification or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in construction supervision services.
• Understanding of international engineering standards and codes.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong planning, organization, and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in written and spoken Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the installations of equipment on site.
• Review shop drawings, submittals and bills of quantities for accuracy.
• Monitor site progress and ensure work conforms to K&A specifications and QC procedures.
• Assist in coordinating with project team, clients, and third parties as needed.
• Ensure safety requirements are followed on site.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

Chartered Professional Engineering certification or equivalent

Knowledge of construction supervision services

Understanding of international engineering standards and codes

Interpersonal and leadership skills

Communication skills

Planning and organization skills

Time management skills

Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English
