Job summary

AANKA Group is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to supervise daily construction operations in Dubai. You will coordinate between consultants, contractors, and suppliers to drive on-schedule progress while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a civil engineering degree, UAE site experience, and familiarity with Dubai Building Code. Proficiency in AutoCAD and exposure to BIM tools are preferred; immediate joining available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• Dubai Municipality G+1 approval/classification mandatory.
• Experience with Tarkees application system for Dubai Municipality projects required.
• 2–4 years of site engineering experience in UAE/GCC construction.
• Knowledge of Dubai Building Code and local regulations.
• Proven ability to manage projects from foundation to completion.
• Strong reading of architectural/structural drawings and QA/inspection skills.

Job description

• Supervise and manage daily construction site operations and work execution
• Monitor construction progress against project schedule and ensure timely completion
• Coordinate between design consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards and code compliance
• Ensure strict adherence to Dubai Municipality Building Code and regulations
• Manage site safety protocols and ensure OSHA DOSH compliance
• Prepare daily weekly construction reports and site documentation
• Maintain As-Built drawings and construction records
• Resolve technical and logistical issues on-site
• Liaise with Dubai Municipality for inspections and approvals
• Coordinate with Project Manager for resource planning and budget control
• Train and supervise site staff on safety and quality procedures
• Review and approve construction materials and workmanship

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
• Dubai Municipality G+1 Approval/Classification (mandatory)
• Experience with Tarkees application system (MANDATORY) – Dubai Municipality project management
• Minimum 2-4 years of site engineering experience in UAE/GCC construction
• Proven experience in managing construction projects from foundation to completion
• Knowledge of Dubai Building Code, Municipality standards, and local regulations

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D/3D drawings)
• Strong understanding of construction methods and building practices
• BIM software experience (Revit/Navisworks) – preferred
• Excellent quality assurance and inspection skills
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/structural drawings
