Job summary

Stantec is looking to hire a Civil Engineer with extensive experience in water drainage and storm water networks for our Dubai projects. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a minimum of 10 years in design, construction and supervision of water and sewerage infrastructure.

You will work on pipelines, pumping stations, manholes, and crossing works while coordinating with Dubai Municipality and other authorities to ensure compliance with local standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in design, construction, and supervision of water and sewerage infrastructure.
• Must have previous exp on DM projects.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai’s existing infrastructure networks and local authority standards.
• Water pipelines, sewers, rising mains, and pumping stations.
• Manholes, VC, WO, AV, connection chambers.
• Non‑disruptive road crossings (HDD, micro‑tunneling, jack & bore).
• Infrastructure design and authority approvals.
• Emergency works and rapid response projects.
• Coordination with Dubai Municipality and other utility authorities.
• Public dealing and stakeholder coordination. Strong supervision, communication.
