Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer based in Dubai to oversee projects related to stormwater, drainage, and wastewater networks. The role requires managing day-to-day construction activities, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring compliance with design specifications.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and at least 15 years of experience in pipeline and infrastructure projects, with additional experience in DM infrastructure being a plus.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in pipeline pumping station and infrastructure projects.
• Experience in DM infrastructure projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering the operational functions of daily construction activities.
• Interact with contractors and monitor construction work daily.
• Coordinate with government departments and facilitate project progress.
• Prepare and maintain project logs and reports.
• Review and approve design documents and construction plans.
