Role Overview

Stantec is looking to hire a Civil Engineer with experience in water drainage and storm water networks in Dubai. Candidates with experience in micro tunnelling and NDRC projects are required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, construction, and supervision of water and sewerage infrastructure.
• Preparation of infrastructure design and authority approvals.
• Implementation of emergency works and rapid response projects.
• Coordination with Dubai Municipality and other utility authorities.
• Public dealing and stakeholder coordination, strong supervision and communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in design, construction, and supervision of water and sewerage infrastructure.
• Experience in micro tunnelling and NDRC projects; previous experience on DM projects.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai’s existing infrastructure networks and local authority standards.
• Familiarity with water pipelines, sewers, rising mains, and pumping stations; manholes, VC, WO, AV, and connection chambers.
• Experience with non‑disruptive road crossings (HDD, micro‑tunnelling, jack & bore).
