Job summary

Client of Dashco Middle East is seeking a Civil Draftsman in Dubai to prepare detailed civil drawings and plans. You will produce 2D/3D designs using AutoCAD, and work with civil engineers and architects to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or certification in civil drafting and hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related tools. The role involves collaboration, data verification, and timely project delivery in a construction setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Civil Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a civil draftsman or similar role.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other drafting/design software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for civil projects using AutoCAD.
• Utilize Civil 3D and other relevant software.
• Develop site layouts, grading plans, road profiles, utility layouts, and structural details.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and team members to gather specs and resolve issues.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and project managers.
• Ensure drawings comply with local regulations, codes and standards.
• Maintain and organize drawing files per company standards.
• Conduct site visits to gather data or verify measurements.
• Assist in preparing quantity take-offs and bill of materials.
• Keep up-to-date with advances in design software and industry standards.

We are hiring for a Civil Draftsman to join our client a construction and contracting company in Dubai The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and plans for civil engineering projects The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software along with a solid understanding of civil engineering standards and practices

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for civil engineering projects using AutoCAD
• Civil 3D and other relevant software
• Develop site layouts grading plans road profiles utility layouts and structural details
• Collaborate with civil engineers architects and other team members to collect design specifications and resolve design issues
• Revise drawings based on feedback and mark‑ups from engineers and project managers
• Ensure drawings comply with local regulations codes and standards
• Maintain and organize drawing files and related documents in accordance with company standards
• Conduct site visits when necessary to gather data or verify measurements
