Job summary

LINEA Projects in the UAE is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Draftsman to prepare, modify, and maintain technical drawings for construction projects. You will ensure drawings are accurate and aligned with project requirements, coordinated with engineers and site teams, and prepared to hand over upon project completion.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction and technical drawings based on project requirements.
• Develop and modify drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, layouts, sections, and details as required.
• Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and coordinate with relevant teams.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, approved designs, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, site teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Make revisions to drawings based on site conditions and consultant/client comments.
• Maintain proper records and revisions of all project drawings.
• Assist site teams with technical drawings and clarification requirements.
• Prepare as-built drawings and documentation for project handover.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely submission of drawings.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Draftsman with strong UAE construction and contracting experience. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining technical drawings and ensuring drawings are accurate and aligned with project requirements.

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of other drafting/BIM software is an advantage.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, technical details, and site requirements.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Relevant diploma/certification in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
