Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks a skilled Civil Draftsman with UAE construction experience to produce civil and structural drawings for residential, commercial, high-rise, and infra projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and coordination with multidisciplinary teams is essential.

The role involves creating GA, section, elevation, and layout drawings, along with as-built docs and revisions in line with consultant and municipality standards in the Dubai/UAE market.

Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / Certification in Civil Drafting or Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3–8 years experience as Civil Draftsman in UAE/GCC construction.
• Experience in high-rise, villas, commercial buildings, and infrastructure projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil and structural shop drawings.
• Develop GA drawings, section details, elevation drawings, and layout drawings.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on site conditions.
• Modify drawings per consultant/client comments.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and UAE standards.
• Coordinate with project engineers, site engineers, architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams.
• Prepare coordinated drawings for construction execution.
• Assist teams in resolving drawing discrepancies.
• Maintain drawing registers and documentation control.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Draftsman with experience in the construction industry in Dubai/UAE. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate civil and structural drawings, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings for residential, commercial, high-rise, and infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in AutoCAD and excellent understanding of construction drawings, site coordination, and UAE construction standards.

Key Responsibilities

Drafting & Drawing Preparation

• Prepare detailed civil and structural shop drawings
• Develop GA drawings, section details, elevation drawings, and layout drawings
• Prepare as-built drawings based on site conditions
• Modify and revise drawings as per consultant/client comments
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and UAE standards

Coordination & Technical Support

• Coordinate with:
  • Project Engineers
  • Site Engineers
  • Architects
  • Structural Engineers
  • MEP teams
• Prepare coordinated drawings for construction execution
• Assist project teams in resolving drawing discrepancies
• Maintain drawing registers and documentation control

Site & Construction Support

• Interpret construction drawings and BOQ requirements
• Prepare reinforcement detailing and concrete detailing drawings
• Support site teams with technical drafting requirements
• Ensure timely submission of drawings for approvals

Documentation & Standards

• Maintain proper drawing revisions and records
• Ensure compliance with consultant standards and municipality requirements
• Prepare quantity-related drawings and detailed layouts

Requirements

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / ITI / Certification in Civil Drafting or Civil Engineering

Experience

• Minimum 3-8 years experience as Civil Draftsman
• Mandatory UAE/GCC construction industry experience
• Experience in:
