Job summary

Vyas Interior Design and Technical Services LLC in Dubai seeks a proactive Civil Estimation Engineer with 2–4 years’ UAE experience in civil, HVAC, MEP, and maintenance works. You will conduct site inspections, prepare quotations, and manage client requirements from enquiry to completion.

The role involves cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and coordinating with technicians and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in technical services, maintenance, fit-out, civil or MEP works in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of civil maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general MEP services.
• Experience in estimation, quantity take-off, BOQ preparation and quotation development.
• Ability to read drawings, layouts and technical specifications.
• Strong communication, negotiation and client-handling skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple enquiries and projects simultaneously.
• UAE driving licence is preferred.
• Existing industry contacts and lead-generation experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits, inspections and measurements for civil, HVAC, MEP, plumbing, electrical and maintenance works
• Understand client requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions
• Prepare detailed cost estimates BOQs quotations and work scopes
• Calculate material quantities labour requirements equipment costs and project timelines
• Coordinate with technicians subcontractors suppliers and site teams
• Source competitive material and subcontractor prices
• Follow up on submitted quotations and convert enquiries into confirmed projects
• Generate new leads through site visits networking property management companies facility management companies and direct client outreach
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients consultants and building management teams
• Attend client meetings explain technical proposals and negotiate project terms
• Monitor ongoing projects to ensure quality cost control and timely completion
• Prepare project progress updates variation quotations and completion reports
• Ensure works comply with approved specifications safety standards and UAE regulations
• Support payment follow-ups project documentation and final handover
