Job summary

Henan D.R. Construction Group is seeking a Chinese Translator for our Abu Dhabi project team. The role requires translating between Chinese and English to support management, engineers, supervisors, workers, and stakeholders. Salary up to AED 6000 per month, with visa and medical insurance provided on arrival.

You will translate site communications, documents, emails, and briefings, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality throughout the project lifecycle. The position is site-based in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Chinese and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience as a Chinese Translator/Interpreter in construction or related fields is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide Chinese-English translation and interpretation for meetings, site activities, and daily communications.
• Translate technical, administrative, and project-related documents accurately.
• Assist management and technical teams in communicating with English-speaking employees and stakeholders.
• Provide interpretation during site meetings, inspections, training sessions, and project briefings.
• Translate emails, reports, instructions, notices, and other project correspondence.
• Support communication between Chinese and multinational project teams.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and project information.

Salary: Upto AED 6000 Project Location: Near KIZAD We are looking for a Chinese Translator to join our project team in Abu Dhabi.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and effective translation and interpretation between Chinese and English to support communication between management, engineers, supervisors, workers, and other project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Chinese English translation and interpretation for meetings, discussions, site activities, and daily communications.
• Translate technical, administrative, and project-related documents accurately.
• Assist Chinese management and technical teams in communicating with English-speaking employees and stakeholders.
• Provide interpretation during site meetings, inspections, training sessions, and project briefings.
• Translate emails, reports, instructions, notices, and other project correspondence.
• Support communication between Chinese and multinational project teams.
• Ensure that translated information is clear, accurate, and appropriate to the project context.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and project information.
• Perform other translation and administrative support duties as required.

Requirements

• Fluency in Chinese and English, both spoken and written.
• Previous experience as a Chinese Translator/Interpreter, preferably within the construction, infrastructure, power plant, engineering, or Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a site-based/project environment.
• Good understanding of technical and construction terminology is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate with people from different nationalities.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
• Candidates from India or Sudan can be considered.
