About Franchiseen

Franchiseen is a Dubai-based startup reimagining the franchise industry by allowing individuals to own franchise shares starting at just $1. Our platform connects franchisers, franchisees, and setup vendors into a unified ecosystem powered by fractional ownership, blockchain transparency, and monthly revenue distribution.

We are expanding in the UAE and are looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology roadmap and scale Franchiseen into the region’s first franchise investment marketplace.

Role & Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technology strategy for Franchiseen.
• Lead the development of our mobile apps (Franchise & Franchiseen) using React Native.
• Architect and manage backend systems ( Node.js / Supabase / Appwrite / Convex ).
• Build and lead a technical team in Dubai / UAE.
• Ensure security, compliance, and scalability for UAE market expansion.
• Work directly with the founding team on product roadmap, fundraising, and scaling strategy.

Ideal Candidate

• Experienced full-stack developer with leadership skills.
• Proficient in React Native, Node.js, TypeScript, and databases.
• Strong understanding of blockchain / web3 (preferably Solana).
• Entrepreneurial mindset – ready to work in a sweat equity model until funding.
• Based in Dubai / UAE or open to relocation.
• Bonus: Experience in fintech, marketplace platforms, or franchise / retail systems.
