Job summary

Yello is seeking a senior legal leader to act as the principal advisor to the CEO and executive team in the United Arab Emirates. The role oversees corporate transactions, restructurings, and major contracts, while managing legal risk and leading external counsel for complex disputes.

The candidate will head a high-performing legal team and harmonize legal practices across the group’s entities, focusing on UAE corporate, commercial, labour, and regulatory matters.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive legal experience with senior leadership responsibilities.
• Extensive expertise in UAE corporate, commercial, labour, and regulatory law.
• Licensed to practice law in the UAE.
• Experience advising senior executives on complex transactions, governance, and legal risk matters.

Responsibilities

• Act as the principal legal advisor to the CEO and executive leadership on significant legal and commercial matters.
• Provide strategic oversight of corporate transactions, restructuring initiatives, and major contractual negotiations.
• Lead the Group's legal risk management framework, ensuring key risks are identified, mitigated, and escalated.
• Oversee complex litigation, arbitration, disputes, and management of external legal counsel.
• Develop and lead a high-performing legal team and drive consistency in legal practices across all group entities.
