Job summary

Yello, based in Fujairah, UAE, seeks a principal legal adviser to partner with the GCEO and senior stakeholders on corporate, commercial and strategic matters.

You will lead drafting, negotiation and review of complex commercial agreements across the Group, and support acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings and other strategic transactions. You will drive governance, risk management and legal operations, including matter tracking, reporting and external counsel management.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with a law degree from a recognised institution.
• 8–12 years post-qualification experience in private practice and/or in-house environments.
• Strong corporate and commercial law background with experience negotiating complex agreements.
• UAE/GCC experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal legal adviser to the GCEO and senior stakeholders on corporate, commercial and strategic matters.
• Lead the drafting, negotiation, and review of complex commercial agreements across the Group.
• Support acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, restructurings, and other strategic transactions.
• Drive legal governance, risk management and legal operations, including matter tracking and reporting.
• Manage external law firms and legal advisers, ensuring high-quality support and cost-effective outcomes.
• Build legal frameworks, templates and processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and risk management across the organisation.
