Job summary

Tanqeeb invites applications for a senior IT leadership role to spearhead the Ministry's digital transformation and technology strategy in the United Arab Emirates. The position oversees enterprise applications, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity governance, and digital government initiatives to boost efficiency and service delivery.

The role requires extensive experience in IT leadership, project delivery, and a strong track record implementing international standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Digital Transformation, Business Administration (MBA), Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the Ministry's Digital Transformation Strategy and Technology Roadmap.
• Develop and oversee departmental strategic and operational plans to align with priorities.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to ensure high-quality technology services and SLAs.
• Establish IT governance frameworks, security controls, and quality management practices.
• Prioritize business technology requirements and lead delivery of technology projects using modern practices.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cloud services, and data platforms.
• Drive Digital Government initiatives and ensure compliance with national frameworks.
• Oversee ICT procurement, vendor management, and budget planning.
• Ensure resilience, security, and business continuity of technology systems.
• Monitor KPIs and provide reports to senior management.
• Manage IT Directorate budgets and financial planning.
• Develop information security awareness and cybersecurity training.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and best practices.
• Promote innovation through emerging technologies and AI.
• Foster continuous learning and employee engagement.
